Today I wanted to share with you some plain $1 picture frames that I got at Michael's & decorated as thank you gifts for my girlfriends who live nearby & helped me so much with dinners & taking my kids to basket ball & even staying at my house while I was in the hospital. I don't know what I would have done wothout them... thank God for wonderful friends in our lives.
I am planning on haveing a luncheon in their honor as my way of saying thankyou & having these frames at each place setting at the dining room table. I hope they like them...
I hope you all are having a relaxing weekend & getting lots of crafting done. Thank you for watching & I'll be back later to share the cards I will be making to go along with these frames.

Happy Monday Friends!

Hi Everyone,
Thank you so much for all the kind well wishes! I really apprciate it & hope to be back at my craft table really soon. I was down there yesterday fro alittle while & made some really cute Valentine's Day Picture frames. i can't wait to show them to you...
I am resting at home, but it looks like I will be heading back to John Hopkins Hospital again very soon. Today was a little rough & dehydration is always a concern. the good news is the medication is working & I have had a glass of flat 7UP & toast. Woo-hoo! Exciting isn't it???
For this post, I wanted to feature another cute Valentine's day card ~ this was not a card I made personally, but a fellow S/Up! demo from my group back home in Illinois. Her name slips my mind at the moment & I am sorry I can't give credit where credit is due. When I do think of it, I will make a special point to recongize her. None the less, it's a really cute card to share!

Greetings from Baltimore,,,

Hi Friends,
I am sorry I haven't posted anything all week, but I am in John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. I have been here since Monday & they tell me I can go home tomorrow (Friday) after one more Nuclear Test. Yuck!!! I am in great hands & have two amazing teams of Doctors working diligently round the clock on my case. Some of you know that I have been sick for afew years & have ended up coming here looking for answers. I am confident they will figure out what is wrong & get me back to good health!
Not being able to get home & be with my kids is driving me crazy, but I really miss not being able to paper craft too... so I will post a new video as soon as I am home & feeling up to it.
Valentine's day is just around the corner & I have so many cute projects I want to do. Until then...

Episode 195 ~ A Masculune Mini Albumn...

Happy Sunday my friends,
Just a quick video to share with today... It's football playoff's & I am a die-hard Chicago Bears Fan!!!
I wanted to share with you a mini albumn I made for a male friend of mine who is terminally ill with cancer. I made this album for him & just wanted to let him know I was thinking about him & I loved him. It's so hard to cope with these types of illness' when they strike & I pray for him & his family everyday. Now it is in God's hands & I know Keith will be alright.
Count your blessing of good health my friends, these awful things happen often when you least expect it. I know I am hugging my sweet little family tighter today...
I hope everyone of you is having a relaxing Sunday surrounded by family & freinds, or perhaps playing & creating in your craftroom/area. Yeah, for creative outlets!

Stamped Valentine's Day Card

Happy Saturday Everyone,

I hope this wonderful Saturday finds you with coffee in hand & enjoying the "It's My Birthday" Blog Hop! I have so much fun checking out everyones awesome projects. Make sure to check them all out.
For my post today, I wanted to share with you a Valentine's day card I made using all Stampin' Up! products. This begins with using the Hearts & Swirls Large Background stamp ( which is unforunately retired ). But, this was a very quick card to make & I used my glitter & 3-way glue pen to follow the swirls. So, it's very *blingy* , love it! I punched the pink heart out after I stamped the image using my Heart punch as well. This is a pretty simple card, but very sparkely & bright.

Make it a great day friends...

If so, join us, perhaps we could start a blog "book club" together. I am in 2 book clubs here through mu church & also the Women's Club I am in, but I am always ending my day with my jammies, a candle & a good book! Aaaahhh ~ pure joy! Next to scrappin' & stampin' of course...
So, leave me comment if you are interested in reading together or if you have read any good books on your own. I would love to hear some of your favorites.

Happy Hearts Card Using Sizzix Die

Hi Everyone,
I hope you are having a wonderful Wednesday... I wanted to share this card that I made ( it's another re-post) using the darling Sizzix Heart & Key Die. I love how easily these dies cut through all kinds of paper, even thick DCWV paper.
Well, I am off to continue taking the last of the Christmas decorations down & putting up the Valentine's Day stuff. I will take a picture of my soooo cute Lollipop Tree. It's all decked out in hearts & pink!

Valentines Day Card

Hi Everyone,
Well, we sure got socked with a ton of snow last night, so the kiddies are home from school today! I have a large group of little boys sledding down the hill in the front of the house. I love days like this! In todays post, I am featuring  another Valentine's Day card using the "A Child's Year" cricut cartridge. I added some red stickles to just the bouquets of roses. Very sparkley, yippee!
I am taking aaaalllll the Christmas stuff down today & hoping to get down to my craftroom to make some cute Valentine's Day projects. Wish me luck!

Happy Tuesday Friends,
This is a re-post of a super cute Valentine's Day card I made last year. I don't know if you can tell from the picture, but I ran the white, top layer through my Swiss Dots Embossing folder. The adorable image is from the Cricut Cartridge "A Childs Year". One of my all time favorite cartridges! Alittle cute bow around the puppy dogs neck & presto - really simple & quick card.
I hope everyone is home safely if you live here on the eastcoast, we are bracing for another huge snowstorm. Yeah... that means carfty time!
