Episode # 441 ~ Adorable "Perpetual Calendar" By Stampin' Up!

Hi Everyone,

Oooohhhh.... I was so happy that I got to play with some new Stampin' Up! goodies that arrived yesterday!!! This fun Perpetual Birthday Calendar came together very quickly and I love having it for year after year. I used some of the left over items to make a couple of fun cards, you will have lot's of goodies remaining that can be used on other projects. This would also make a great gift for anyone who might not otherwise remember all their family and friends birthdays!

Thanks so much for watching...

Epsiode #440 ~ Shabby Chic Birdcage Candle Holder & Card Share

Hi Everyone,

Happy Valentine's Day to all my crafty friends! I hope your day is full of love, laughter and CHOCOLATE!!!

I wanted to share with all of you a pretty shabby chic birdcage candle holder that I made for a friends birthday. We are having a birthday luncheon for her and I can't wait to give her my gift! I used the awesome Chalk Paint from Michael's in a pale greenish blue color. I was very happy with how it turned out and hope it gives you some inspiration for making easy home decor or a unique gift.

Have a wonderful day, we are celebrating at home with a delicious lobster tail and steak dinner with the kiddos. Thanks for watching and always leaving me sweet comments ~

Episode # 439 ~ February 2015 Hip Kit Club Lay-out

Hi Guys,

Well, I did it... I joined two scrapbooking kit clubs this past week! I am super excited and can't wait to get caught up on all my scrapbooking. I signed-up for Clique Kit and also Hip Kit Club - It's in hope that if I have "kits" coming each month, maybe I'll be less likely to go shopping all the time. We can all hope can't we??? LOL!

This is just one of many double page layouts I hope to complete, it should be interesting to try and figure out how to stretch a single page of patterned paper ( you only get one of each design in the HCK) to do a bunch of double page lay-outs. I do a lot of those and I also put more than one picture on a page. I try to fit 3 maybe even 4 pictures on a page.

If you have any suggestions on stretching a single sheet to make 2 pages, please share your ideas with me, I'd love to hear your ideas.

Episode #438 ~ Valentine's Day "Shaker" Cards!

Hi Everyone,

Happy Hump Day... I've been busy in my craft room making some super fun shaker cards! I am seriously addicted to making & shaking these cuties. They really are just the sweetest things ever - I also went to my local Michael's (oops!) & found some more cute goodies. I came across a great deal on Inky Antics Stamp Sets for only $4.99 each, woo-hoo! I've paid over $11.00 a set when I lived in New Jersey at a small specialty store. So, this deal did make this momma very happy.

Have a great rest of your week & get your craftiness on...

Big Hugs,
