Episode #282 Super Simple Sunday #23 Valentine Treat!

Hi Scrappy Friends, I hope you all are having a relaxing weekend... I found this really cute Valentine's Day Treat on Splitcoaststampers & I apologize that I can't remember who came up with this idea. I just knew I wanted to make a bunch of these and give them out to my friends and neighbors.
This is a quick and easy project, so give it a try! I found the cello pretzel bags at Walmart in the cake decorating section.
Have a wonderful week friends...

Episode #280 Super Simple Sunday #22 Valentine Treat Holder

Happy Sunday crafty friends,
I hope you are enjoying a really big football day with your family & friends! My scrubby is making is delicious mosticholli & meatballs for dinner, yum ~ It doesn't get any better then that... I did manage to get in my craft room this afternoon & play with the new Petal Die from S/Up! that's been on my desk for awhile. With Valentine's Day right around the corner, it seemed the perfect die to use to make a treat holder. I picked up a bag of lollipops at CVS the other day & this makes a fun treat to pass out to friends, co-workers & neighbors. It's really easy to make & it's always fun to see peoples faces light-up when they receive a hand made gift!
I hope this gives you some inspiration & if you have any questions, just leave me a comment & I will get back to you. This is the big game to see who will be in the Superbowl!!! Woo-Hoo! I am rooting got the Ravens...ssshhhh!

Episode #276 ~ A Little Haul...

Hi Crafty friends,
Just stopping by to say "hello" & share with you a few things I picked up at A.C. Moore over the weekend while I was out dress shopping with my daughter. She has her Sweet 16 Birthday Party coming up in June. I am trying to get ahead & begin planning what I will be making for "thank you gifts" for the guests.
I was in need of some fresh inspiration, so I picked up this idea book & can't wait to have time to look through it.

Episode #275 CVS Score'

Hi Everyone,
I hope your holidays were merry & bright ~ Our's were wonderful & full of fabulous memories! I've got lots of pictures to add to my scrapbooking pile. I guess it's always good to have something to have to scrap...
If you are a coupon clipper like I am, then this is a video for you! I am always looking for a great deal & with 3 kids, I go through shampoo & conditioner like crazy. Here are some of deals I scored at CVS yesterday & I am so glad I did. Be sure to stop by your local CVS & see if these deals are going on in your area. In our family, we also give alot of these things to our local food pantry via our church. So many people are in need & what a wonderful way to help!
Happy New Year,

Episode #274 Homemade Hand & Body Scrub

Happy Holidays Everyone,
Today I whipped up lots of homemade gifts for friends & neighbors! I wanted to share this awesome hand & body scrub that you can customize with your favorite scent. I made brown sugar & vanilla, but I have to say, favorite is the brown sugar & lemon! It smells soooo good & makes your hands really soft. I love this stuff & will be painting my nails as well for alittle pampering after a long day of house cleaning & crafting. Woo-Hoo!!!
Here are the measurements : 1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
Approximently 3/4 cup olive oil
*optional : vanilla extract or lemon extract
Mix well until the consistancy of wet sand & place into glass jar. Decorate outside of jar & label. The person recieving it my have to stir the contents before using if oil settles.
Happy Holidays,
