  Can you believe Christmas Eve is next Thursday?!@#$%^&* I am so excited and can't wait to get my turkey cooking, table set and family all around. I had a fabulous time making a December Daily album for my family and I decided to make one for my friend as a Christmas gift. This really is a wonderful way to recall simple daily activities in years to come.

Episode #432 ~ "My" December Daily 2014!!!

Hi Everyone,

  Happy December 1st, 2014!!! Today I wanted to share with you "My" December Daily - I think this is a great idea & yes, I jumped on the bandwagon too. I am super excited to start taking pictures today as we will be putting up our decoration & tree(s). Hubby did the outside stuff last weekend while the rather was nice.

Episode #431 ~ Re-Purpose/Re-Use… It smells so GOOD!

Hi Everyone,

  I am in fill fall/Thanksgiving mode & love to scent my house with these wax tarts. I  have one of the electric warmers from Yankee Candle shop & I sometimes use their tarts, but found these at my local grocery store. They smell fabulous & cost about .40 less than the Yankee ones - I just love the scent & the idea of re-purposing things. Plus, they make the whole house smell good, even the Trick-or-Treators commented on Halloween how good our house smelled when they walked up to the house & we opened the front door. Give it a try!

  Happy Sunday - It's cold and snowy here in the Chicago area and I LOVE it!!! Yippee! Super Simple Sunday: Episode # 429 ~ Christmas Card with Star Framelits

Happy Sunday Everyone,

  I hope you all had a safe & fun Halloween, the kids were adorable that came Trick-or-Treating at our house- I love seeing them! This momma has MORE then eaten her share of Snickers & asked my hubby to get them our of the house.

  In todays video, I chose to use the wonderful Star framelits & the christmas paper pack - that's it! Super simple!!! I hope you like this very simple & quick card, sometimes the simpler the better.

  I haven't done a "Super Simple Sunday" video in FOREVER!!! So, I am doing one today because this fall card couldn't be any "simpler". I went to a group meeting with my old stamping friends from years ago when we used to live here in Illinois. It was so great to see everyone again & get back to sharing ideas!

Episode #428- Ghostly Treat Box

Happy Columbus Day Friends,

  It's a rainy, yucky day here in Chicago - it's my house cleaning day & so I am of course playing in my craft room first! The cleaning can wait just a little bit!!!

  I have been itching to play with this awesome new Curly Keepsake Box from Stampin' Up! so i looked around on Pinterest & got my inspiration from a gal named Nancyprints. She had done a card & i simply adjusted it to make into a treat box. The candy corn will go in ON halloween, because if I do it now… my teenage son will eat it! Momma likes it too ~

  Give this fun project a try, I know they will be a huge hit when I pass them out to neighbors & friends at the Halloween Party we are going to this weekend.

Episode #427 ~ Lawn Fawn Cards Share & Stampin' Up Goodness!

Hi Crafty Friends,

  First, I have to explain the abrupt ending of this video… I went over the 10 minute time limit on YouTube so I had to cut it off right away so I would be able to upload the video. I am sorry I didn't get to show you the other cute card I made, but these are the rules for uploading videos - oh well.

Episode #427 ~ Tennessee Haul Fun! (Sort of...)

Hi there Crafty Friends,

  I just wanted to share some of the cute stamps & papers that I picked while I was down in Knoxville, TN taken care of my daughter as she had back surgery last week. Her roommate came over to out hotel for a visit & I needed to run out to get bandages & whatnot & realized that there was a scrapbook store right down the road. So of course I had to pop in & see what they had & grab some UT stickers & stuff!

  Project Life has quickly become one of my favorite ways to scrap & I incorporate both traditional 12 x 12 pages alongside the pocket pages for added interest. It's completely addicting ( but what about paper crafting isn't?!@#$%^&*)

  I hope tomorrow to find some time to make some fall cards with my new stamp sets, so if I accomplish that, I will share the finished projects with all of you.

Episode #426 ~ "Lil' Pumpkin" Card

Hi Crafty Friends,

  I hope this video finds you all happy & healthy... I am sending a care package to our daughter who is away at college & i wanted to include a fall card for her so she could set it on her desk. I hadn't used this darling My Favorite Things stamp set yet, so I thought this would be the perfect time! It is soooo stinkin' adorable!!! I love to color with my topic markers, as I find it very relaxing.

  Fall is one of my most favorite times of the year, I love the crisp air, hayrides & the beautiful trees as they begin to change color.

Episode #425- Gale's Been Shopping Part 2- $2 Grab Bag

Happy Friday crafty friends,

  Just thought I would share with you the fun items I was lucky enough to receive in the $2 Grab Bag that I picked up at Michaels the other day. What a pleasant surprise & it had provided some fun items to add to my gift-aways, which I just love to do!!!

  My scrubby & I will begin the process of knocking out a wall downstairs to put french doors in leading into my craft room/beauty studio tomorrow & I am super excited! I will post pictures as we progress & then of course when it is all finished. I really just want to get it done & get back to crafting & enjoying watching all of your videos as well.

Episode #425- Gale's Been Shopping!

Hello Everyone,

  I have been uber busy with our cross country move back to Illinois. We love our new house & are getting settled in quickly... I do not have a craft room in this house (yet). But my sweet scrubby is going to be building a craft room / Mary Kay Beauty Studio for me next week - yippee!!! I am soooo excited!

  To sooth my lack of ability to scrap & stamp right now, I have been shopping up a storm. Today I stopped in at Michael's & they had some really great deals. I found some awesome goodies for 99cents & even got a $2 grab bag.

  I am seriously hooked on the Project Life Scrapbooking system so, these 3x4 card packs are so cute & even better when they are on sale for $1.99! I picked up lot's & I am anxious to sit down & spend some time doing what I love. Check out your local store if you are looking for some fun stickers & P.L. card packs.

July 2014 New Product Release from MFT

  We have recently moved from New Jersey back to Illinois just 9 days ago! Huge move my friends & the movers informed me that one entire semi was filled with just my craft room goodies & my Mary Kay Beauty Studio products. That transpires to 24, 000 pounds of my favorite things!!! Yikes...

Episode 424 ~ Scrapbooking with Perfect Layers

Hi Everyone & Happy Sunday,

  We are getting ready for yet another Open House today so I wanted to quickly share this video with all of you before we head out the door. As many of you know, I have been seriously trying to get caught up on my scrapbooking & this is a double page spread of my family.

  I used the Perfect Layers cutting guides to layer my pictures, which is my least favorite thing to do in scrapbooking. It used to take me forever to get the layers perfect, but these guides really make it quick & simple, yippee!!! Now layering isn't such a hassle & I actually like to mat all my pictures now...

  Hopefully this will encourage other scrappers to mat those photos & explain how to use the guides, I wasn't sure how to use them when I first got them.

Episode #423 ~ My Favorite Things/ Thank you cards

Hi Happy Crafters,

  I hope everyone had a blessed Easter who celebrates, I know I ate my weight in jelly beans - yum!!! Today I wanted to do some Copic coloring, so I grab one of my really cute stamps from My Favorite Things called "Have a Blooming Good Day". Coloring is a great way for me to relax & always puts a smile on my face.

  Boy, I have finally made some progress on my mad attempt to get caught up on my scrapbooking pages! I have finished my daughter's Prom pictures from 2012 as well as the pictures from her Sweet 16 party... what a relief!
