Episode #453 ~ "Pocket" Share and H.L. Haul

Happy Sunday Scrappy Friends,

Greetings from Chicago, it is finally a sunny day today - yippee! We have had a bunch of rain, so it was nice to be able to finally be able to take a bike ride with my scrubby. Plus, it's a steaks on the grill kind of night, yum!

I received my 1st Pocket Letter Swap from Lisa at L.J. Creations and I just love it! I also got to do some shopping yesterday at Hobby Lobby and lot's of good sales were found. And on top of all that goodness, I also received in the mail a prize I won from Sa Crafters Name Sign Challenge - wow, I am truly blessed!

Have a relaxing rest of your weekend and thanks for stoping by...

Hi Everyone,
Here is one of the five Father's Day cards I made for my scrubby from the kids! I had a blast making them and for this masculine card, I used "The Open Sea" stamp set from Stampin' Up! Product #123032 (clear-mount) or #128454 (wood-mount). You can find this great set on page 84 of our *New* June 2, 2015 - May 31, 2016 Idea Book and Catalog. I also used Night of Navy cardstock #100867and Whisper White #100730. Also Night of Navy Ink Pad #126970.
I will share each card with you and they would be perfect for any occasion such as Birthday's to have ready and on hand.

Happy Stamping!

Episode #452 ~ "Summer time" Pocket Letter

Hi Everybody,

Well, I jumped on the Pocket Letter bandwagon and made my very first one! As you can tell from the video, I went with a summer theme and all my favorite things. These are really fun to make and go together pretty quickly, now if I can get the dang thing to fit into a business size envelope!

If you haven't made one yet, you really need to give them a try. Also, if you are interested in doing a Pocket Letter Swap, please let me know. If I have enough interest, I am happy to host a Swap...

Thanks for watching and have a wonderful rest of your week.

Episode #451 ~ Father's Day Cards Share

Hey there Crafty friends,

I have been busy in my craft room, (yippee) making Father's Day cards for my scrubby and also my F-I-L. Unfortunately, my father passed away 15 years ago, just before the birth of our youngest son. I miss him so much and think of him every single day. But, I am happy to celebrate with our family and I am truly thankful for the amazing man my father was.

Check out the fun cards I made, I think scrubby will approve... Maybe they will give you some ideas so you can make your own cards. Thanks for watching and leave me a comment if you have any questions, you know I will get right back to you!

Episode # 450 ~ Shabby Lamp Shade & Scrapbook Lay-Outs

Hi Everyone,

Happy Sunday and I hope you have had a relaxing weekend! Today I am sharing the darling Shabby Lampshade I made a few months ago (no tutorial, sorry...) butI did take pictures and have done a lay-out showing step-by-step how I made it. It really has SO much character and everyone always asks about it when they are in my craft room.

In addition to the brief explanation of that, I also share some of the scrapbook pages I have been working on. I am finally getting to see the end of 2014 and somehow need to make it fit into 2 albums! I really feel like my pages put the viewer into the moment, not just looking at pictures. At least that's what I try to create, don't we all???

Let me know if you have any questions, I am happy to answer them for you and have a peaceful rest of your Sunday.
