Computer Meltdown!!!

Hi Everyone,
Just a quick note to let you know that I have been trying for days to upload a video for you to YouTube and I am not having any success. It begins as though it is going to upload and after hours and hours (overnight even) I find that it dumped the video and says I have no internet connection. Now, I do have internet connection as I am able to post this for all of you, so I am not sure what is going on.
I may just have to call in my computer guru, Miss Veronica from VK Design Co, but for now I will make another "lame" attempt to figure this out for myself. I really don't like asking people for help!!!
I am off to my craftroom to complete a few scrapbook layouts before the daily frantic carpooling begins!
Big Huggs,

  1. I was wondering where you were. I had a similar problem a couple of weeks ago.
I ran a virus scan and there was an intruder alert that came along around the same time that the problem started. So I'm thinking that was the problem. Good luck Gale! Hope to see your smilin face soon. Hugs, Jess

Thanks for the suggestion, I do recall a virus scan notifcation popping up. i wonder if that has something to do with it??? I will see if one of my kiddos can figure it out.

  3. If you have a Pc and are running Windows XP, I sometimes have to restore my system to an earlier date when bugs come up. Last week, all of a sudden, I couldn't pull up or change any of my events in my Outlook calendar, and I can't have that TWO WEEKS BEFORE GRADUATION! Anyway, I selected Start, Help and Support, Restore system to an earlier date, and followed the prompts on the screen. You don't lose any e-mails or files, it simply restores all of your software to what was present on an earlier day when you didn't have that problem. So it eliminates any new viruses or Trojan type programs that may have been downloaded while on the internet. I think my problem happened when I was looking for coloring book type images, and I had to navigate through some of those horrible "free download" websites that have a lot of pop ups. Those seem to always leave bugs in my system! Good Luck with your computer problems?

  4. Thanks for the help Maureen!
I will certainly give that a try... Between 3 kids & myself, someone always seems to go to those websites that cause these problems. My son love to look up stuff on his favorite basketball team.
    Happy Tuesday dear,
    Gale :)
