Episode #431 ~ Re-Purpose/Re-Use… It smells so GOOD!

Hi Everyone,

I am in fill fall/Thanksgiving mode & love to scent my house with these wax tarts. I  have one of the electric warmers from Yankee Candle shop & I sometimes use their tarts, but found these at my local grocery store. They smell fabulous & cost about .40 less than the Yankee ones - I just love the scent & the idea of re-purposing things. Plus, they make the whole house smell good, even the Trick-or-Treators commented on Halloween how good our house smelled when they walked up to the house & we opened the front door. Give it a try!

Hugs,

  1. You are so smart! Too bad I don't have a fireplace! Boo! Wal-Mart has the inexpensive scents too. When I go in that isle I always get overwhelmed with the choices, especially during the holidays.

  3. Great idea Gale! I love scents but they make me hungry. I should try again. I have been so good and am 1 lb away from my goal which is what I call my heavy college weight. LOL We have a wood stove I should make some of these for that. You are sure the wax doesn't hurt the stove or fire place? I know the ones they sell feel very waxy. Thanks again for the great tip. Hugs, linda

    1. Hi Linda,
Congrats on the weight loss dear, that's fabulous! I don't know about wood stoves, but I have a wood burning fireplace & no problems using these wax tarts. I love when the house smells yummy, but I know what you mean about feeling hungry, lol!

      Gale :)
