Episode #485 ~ "Gift Box" Card

Hi Crafty Friends,

  I've got a fun project to share with you and it would be perfect for any gift giving occasion! I plan on making many more and keeping them on hand, I love to have a stash of cards and gift card holders ready at any time. I will have the measurements listed below so you can make some too ~

- Start with a pice of 8 1/2" x 10" piece of cardstock or designer series paper. Score on the 10" or landscape side at 2", 3 1/2, 6 1/2 and 8". Rotate cardstock to 8 1/2" side or portrait and score at 1 1/2" all the way down. Turn cardstock to other portrait side and score again at 1 1/2"
- Cut all four corners out on an angle (see video) and fold and adhere with Fuse or Red Line tape.

Episode # 478 ~ S.S.S.#47 Featuring Botanical Blooms By Stampin' Up!

Happy Sunday Crafty Friends,

  It sure is cold here in Chicago, the high today topped out at 4*... Bbbbrrrr! I am thinking warm thoughts and wishing it was one of those beautiful summer days that my family and spent at the Jersey shore when we lived there alittle over a year ago. Seems like forever on a day as cold as this ~

  I took my inspiration for this card from those very same fond memories. The colors of this card and the striped background reminded me of the wonderful beach umbrellas and fluffy towels, oh how I wish I was someplace warm right now!
