Episode # 450 ~ Shabby Lamp Shade & Scrapbook Lay-Outs





Hi Everyone,

  Happy Sunday and I hope you have had a relaxing weekend! Today I am sharing the darling Shabby Lampshade I made a few months ago (no tutorial, sorry...) butI did take pictures and have done a lay-out showing step-by-step how I made it. It really has SO much character and everyone always asks about it when they are in my craft room.

  In addition to the brief explanation of that, I also share some of the scrapbook pages I have been working on. I am finally getting to see the end of 2014 and somehow need to make it fit into 2 albums! I really feel like my pages put the viewer into the moment, not just looking at pictures. At least that's what I try to create, don't we all???

    I've just started making pages after almost 2 yrs. I have contemplated using the pocket pages. But I can't seem to get it either. I think you're right about the picture sizes. And, there's no reason why you can't use both styles in your albums. They are yours. Just enjoy them.

      Thanks fro commenting, I think we are both on the same page, when it comes to scrapbooking. I am glad you are getting back into it again, sometimes we all just fall of the scrappy wagon! I will keep you up to date on my progress, the end of 2014 is near, yippee!!!
